CONCERT ATTIRE CONTRACT
Here is the concert attire contract for Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble/APE. Please return this as soon as possible so you have your attire before the first concert. Everyone in Symphonic Band/Wind Ensemble/APE should have been fitted. Once I get your contract, I will release your attire to you.

VIRTUAL TAG DAY
Virtual Tag Day – Student Guide (2026)
New this year! Colonial Forge Music Boosters (CFMB) is expanding TAG Day to include a virtual component. All Colonial Forge band programs benefit from the fundraising activities hosted by CFMB. Funds support all of the following and more: purchase and upkeep of instruments, upkeep of uniforms and concert attire, as well as judge fees and costs of hosting auditions at Colonial Forge. The Colonial Forge Sound & Guard Marching Band members will still canvass the Colonial Forge neighborhoods in person on 29 Aug 2026.
All band students are required to participate in Virtual Tag Day by sending donation requests to family and friends by text or e-mail or even sharing (with parent permission) on parent/student social platforms. This will help us reach potential donors outside the immediate school zone.
If the donor asks what to contribute, suggest:

- Each Student will send the virtual tag day scripted message to 6-10 contacts - more if you are able.
- If a student is in multiple band programs, they only have to complete and return this one time.

- Please remember, you are representing Colonial Forge High School. Be polite, respectful, positive, and appreciative.
- If you know any of your contacts donated, please send them a heartfelt thank-you immediately.
- If a person is unsure about donating, let them know they can think it over and choose to donate at any time.
- If a person does not want to donate, thank them anyway.
- If you receive a cash/check donation from your virtual message, please place it in an envelope in the blue box in the band room and label it as a Virtual Tag Day donation.
- If you know any of your contacts donated, please send them a heartfelt thank-you immediately.
- CFMB is a 501(c)(3)organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
- We have physical tags you can provide to donors as receipts, if they would like one.
If the donor asks what to contribute, suggest:
- $100 provides normal supplies or wear & tear maintenance for one band instrument
- $50 covers half the registration fee at a local competition
- $25 pays for dry cleaning a set of either concert attire or marching band uniforms
