Thank you to everyone who applied for a band staff position for the upcoming season. We appreciate the time, preparation, and dedication shown throughout the application and interview process. Band staff placements have now been posted. These decisions were made carefully based on leadership, responsibility, communication, initiative, and commitment to serving the entire program. You made our choices difficult. Please know that we have deliberated a long time to formulate this list, and it has been through many versions. We decided this is the strongest because of the leadership we have in ALL positions. We are proud of every student who stepped forward to apply. While not everyone could be placed in the position they wanted, every member of this program can lead through effort, attitude, and support for others. Remember, all student leaders are expected to audition for the All-County and the All-District Band. They are also required to help with the All-District/All-County audition process. In addition, they will be required to help set up and tear down the Middle School concert setups, Fine Arts Festival, or any other event we may host. The director reserves the right to terminate or replace any student leader at any time for attendance, behavioral, or conduct unbecoming of a leader issues. This is a year-long appointment. This does not end until after graduation. The duties listed here are fluid; duties can be altered, removed, or added at any time if the need arises. Congratulations to those selected, and thank you to all applicants for your continued commitment to our band family. We are looking forward to a great season ahead.
