The IFA program allows students and families, throughout the band program, the opportunity to earn credit towards specified costs. To remain compliant with the IRS and our 501c (3) Tax Exempt status, IFA opportunities will be limited in scope with respect to our overall fundraising activities and will ensure equity and compliance of the program.
Each year the students sell White House ornaments starting during band camp and continuing until early December. Order forms for ornaments can be accessed at the download link shown below. Please turn in all order forms and money to the blue box in the band room. Orders will be filled and placed in the band room for student pickup. For more information, contact [email protected].
Mattress Sale
We set up the cafeteria like a mattress show room and sell mattresses one day in the fall! We don't do the selling, just the promotion of the sale.
Tag Day
Tag Day is a one day fundraising event that occurs on a Saturday in September. Student groups are driven by parent volunteers to neighborhoods in the Colonial Forge school district, and go door-to-door in uniform soliciting donations for the band program. This has always been one of the biggest fundraisers for our group. Many parent volunteers are needed on that day. For more information, contact [email protected].
