TAG DAY 2021

Each year, the musicians from the Sound and Gruard go out into the community to request donations for the operational expenses of the band programs. Funds from our TAG-DAY event only equates to about one-third of the yearly budget for all the music programs. The other two third come from student dues, concessions and individual product based fundraising. 
 To support an individual marching band student for the season costs approximately $550. What does that include? 
  • Uniform cleaning
  • Competition Fees
  • Transportation
  • Music writing
  • Show drill writing
  • Adult staff
  • Meals and hydration when on the road
  • Infrastructure
  • Drumline equipment
  • Color Guard equipment
  • Color Guard outfits
  • Booster Administrative costs
  • County, District, and State audition fees
  • Travel to All-state band
  • Travel to community exhibitions
